Class Descriptions

EASY FLOW

Easy Flow is a beginner-friendly Tai Chi class designed with gentle, easy-to-follow movements. It makes mindful movement approachable and enjoyable for all skill levels, encouraging participants to cultivate a sense of tranquility and presence in their lives while improving balance, strength and flexibility.

SEATED FLOW

Seated Flow is a gentle, restorative class designed for those who may have mobility concerns or simply prefer lower-impact exercises. This class is a wonderful way to engage the mind and the body from the comfort of a seated position, fostering relaxation, clarity and a noticeable improvement in balance, strength and flexibility.

FUSION FLOW

Fusion Flow classes are uniquely blended Tai Chi experiences. They pair the calming, mindful practice of Tai Chi with other disciplines, creating an enriching experience that connects mind, body and spirit. Fire Fusion blends Kung-fu to help us find full self-expression, Iron Fusion incorporates Chinese swords to boost our sensitivity, and Bamboo Fusion combines it with Yoga to teach ourselves to "let go.".

INNER FLOW

Inner Flow is a mindful meditation and relaxation class meant to spark our intrinsic energy, or Chi. Our instructors guide you through a series of meditative practices and gentle movements that cultivate inner peace, stress reduction, and a positive, relaxed state of mind.

TRADITIONAL TAI CHI

Traditional Tai Chi is where the roots of our practice reside, offering a deep dive into the timeless practices and wisdom of old school Tai Chi. This class is a wonderful way to deepen your understanding of Tai Chi philosophy, improve balance, and fluency in traditional Tai Chi forms. It's perfect for students who are interested in the history and tradition of this ancient art form.

VETS ONLY FLOW

Our Veterans Exclusive class is specifically designed for the brave men and women who have served our country. This dedicated class provides a safe and supportive space for Veterans to explore the benefits of Tai Chi. It not only boosts physical health, balance and flexibility, but it also offers therapeutic effects such as stress reduction, improved concentration, and calming of the mind, which can be particularly beneficial for those dealing with PTSD or readjusting to civilian life. Remember, all our classes are free for Veterans, but this exclusive class nurtures a community of camaraderie among those who share the unique experience of military service.
